Title: pulling the bearing on a daiwa 30 sha

The hell do you pull the bearing out of the left side plate on a daiwa 30 sha? Iv spent all daydand countless calls with no answers on how to get this bearing out.

If it looks like this, remove the Phillips screw and wiggle the plate out of there. On my "x" it just popped straight out. Sometimes the graphite swells trapping the bearing in. Need a pick or homemade bearing puller to pry it out. Make a "L" shaped tool to get under the bearing. Picture taken from Alan's sealine "x" tutorial.

If it's the same as the 27sh do the above but the Bearing pushes in from the outside of the reel & it has an "O" ring on it. Order a new "O" ring
