Title: Shimano Dartanium Drag Problems..!!
Post by: handi2 on March 26, 2014, 12:28:46 AM
I received a box full of Shimano Trinidads and Toriums today that were just needing a regular service as stated by the owner.

This is what I found on the first one..!!

This is very common. The solid carbon disks don't allow the release of the metal drags then start to break. Carbontex is the way to go. Looks like you'd better buy a bunch.

...Carbontex is the way to go....

Or Dartanium II, the original Dartanium drag washers were not that good.
