Title: Pro Gear 282 "Albie Special"
Post by: bburton146 on April 08, 2014, 05:22:54 AM
I'm a big fan of Pro Gears, got more than a few, but i need help.  The eccentric spring on my 282 broke, any thoughts on where I could find one?  Thanks guys

i have some for the progear classic series and they might be the same,  i would need the reel in hand to know.  i might also be able to bend one to match from one of the penn springs  post a picture with a ruler in the background for size and it would be easier to figure out if the classic series spring will work.

Alan, I pulled this from your 280 rebuild.  I looked at my springs and I don't have one in that orientation/direction.
