Title: Cal's grease, Long Island / NY area
Post by: johnachak on April 24, 2014, 03:22:07 AM
Hi all, I have been using the Cal's tan (Thick) grease on my C/F drag washers and the gears of bigger reels. I use the Penn grease on the gears of my smaller reels and Cal's on their drag washers also. I have been seeing a purple "Cooler climate" Cal's grease. In this area is the purple better? I do some Cod fishing in the winter. Should I try the purple on the reels I use in the winter? Am I completely over thinking this??? Help.
