very nice!  and the best thing is that this guy lives 15 minutes from the house!!!!!!

Between your reels and this 'ART WORK" near by I'd be constantly broke!  Love the rapping/art work and immediately asked myself: where does this guy live"? Thanx for the answer Alan,

I used 1/16" cord for the handle and then put 2 coats of Spar Urethane on it for waterproofing.  The pictures were taken before I treated the cord so I could capture the vibrance of the colors.  The Spar Urethane darkens the cord a bit initially, but as it wears, the colors come back.

Yup.  I'd recommend Jon to anyone.  He's a great guy to work with and is a total perfectionist.  I can't wait to fish my rods in June!
