Did anyone ever make a topless frame for the International 50S? I have a 50SW with several mods (low gear is 1:1) that I'd like to convert to a standard width and preferably topless.

I'd also be willing to trade the frame and spool for a standard one if anyone is interested.

Hello Lee, John Baker (Baker frames) made a topless frame for a Penn International 50. Cal Sheets might have one available. I would estimate the cost to be at least $200 maybe $250.

Thanks John, I might end up living with the SW and getting a new reel if I really need one at that price.

Lee, Tiburon makes them and may have some in stock. I did my 50S and 30S.

I have a 50t that I wouldn't mind makin a TW if it will work.

Does anyone know if a 50S spool will work on a 50T?
