Title: With Newell Pretty Much gone...

Is there anyone out there who is making posts for Penn reels now? Or better yet is there anyof you reel guru's who would have an interest in making them? Seems there would be a nice niche market for them?  Or am I just pipe dreaming?  I know there are folks who make the whole set up, but for a lot of us, the side posts were all that was really needed.  I gave away a Tibron/Jigmaster to my Nephew as the thing was like jigging a tank on a Kayak.  My surfmaster is the bomb, and I know a lot of guys like the smaller Penn's.  Between cutting highspeed gears maybe someone ould make a test run of posts ???

If you have posts on reels you can swap to bars relatively cheaply. I did that with one 500 and a 4/0. The bases and bars from newell are quite pricey.
