picked it up at the longfin today for $70 without line.  just did a prefishing service and tested the drag straight pull to more than 35 lbs..Yup i am happy.  btw i saw a 9/0 and 12/0 there too in good conditions with lines loaded.  didn't look at the price tag though.

Max

I paid the same price for my 114HL but I had to pay Shipping to N.Y. Do you trust other peoples line that is on any reels that you buy? The only thing I might leave is the Dacron Backing.

Hi Mike,

No i don't usually keep the old lines unless it is spectra.  The reel had no line on it.  I just got done putting lines on it.  Someone has already upgraded the drag stack as it had a 6+1 configuration.  Anyway it is really smooth and in excellent condition.  almost like it was not fished much.
