After putting mine back together the clutch lever will engage/ disengage once then binds up and won't move. I pulled the cover and tried to move the yoke plate. It seemed that the grease under it was almost creating suction and not letting it slide easily enough? Any ideas?

Add a drop of Corrosion-X or similar to that grease.
I think you might need to pull it apart and put it back together again.
