Title: DOMINICK'S FISHING REPORT WITH PHOTOS (REVISED NEW PHOTOS)
Post by: Dominick on June 13, 2014, 03:02:20 AM
Hi AT members.  I'm down in Los Cabos.  We fished today in some rough water.  The wind has been blowing all this past week bringing cold water to the area.  We fish in pretty calm wind for most of the morning.  The wind blew later at around noon and changed direction several times. We will be fishing again on Saturday.  Dominick
This one is for you shark guys.

Living large! A cold beer, a nice stogie and fresh dorado for dinner, doesn't get much better than that. The only thing missing is...... well this is a PG13 site, so we'll leave it at that.

Hi again: Not fishing again until Monday.  The weather is very hot and humid.  Hurricane Christina is off the coast of mainland Mexico.  It's staying off shore but is causing wind and cold water.  We canceled Saturday because of the lousy conditions.  Check the satellite here. Dominick

Dominick, you look like a spring chicken... Good luck tomorrow. Those chick dorado are yummy as can be.
Sal, Don't encourage him to put those Hawaii five-o shirts on... It's screws up the contrast on my computer screen. ;)
Best of luck with the weather,
Dom

Weather report yesterday said their would be 29 mph winds.  We canceled and we are shooting for tomorrow or Monday.  We went to the marina yesterday and there were some tuna (10-15 lbs) small dorado and some very nice red snapper and a 300 lb blue marlin.  Dominick

Daron:  I posted more photos.  You may have missed the second set of photos.  Look at the last photo that is bonita sushi.  The capitano sliced it with fresh limes and soya sauce.  It was surprisingly good.  We never took bonita either throwing them back or cutting them up for bait.  I need to do some research the best I could gather in broken Spanish and English is that there are two different bonita.  They are bonita with teeth or no teeth (like some Kentucky boys ;D).  The capitano said the ones with teeth taste good.  He was right the bonita he served on the boat was pretty good.  Does the hammerhead meet with your criteria?  Dominick

Nope no tuna.  We targeted rooster fish for only a hour.  We did not get a bite.  The dorado was good eating.  Dominick
