Hi AT members. I'm down in Los Cabos. We fished today in some rough water. The wind has been blowing all this past week bringing cold water to the area. We fish in pretty calm wind for most of the morning. The wind blew later at around noon and changed direction several times. We will be fishing again on Saturday. Dominick
This one is for you shark guys.

Live it up Dominick! Looks like you are having fun! ;D That's what its all about.
I don't think I've seen a Hammerhead that small. You should have it mounted above your plinth! ;)
Nice pics. Beats the heck out of my day at work for sure!
Have they stopped making shirts in the USA? ;D
Rgds

Don't get a sun burn.
It looks like you are having a great time. Too bad it isn't Hawaii though. Maybe you could photoshop in a grass skirt and coconut bra. ;D Have fun. Bob
Nice! Glad you got in a couple, now I really need to go back and hopefully sooner than later :)
Living large! A cold beer, a nice stogie and fresh dorado for dinner, doesn't get much better than that. The only thing missing is...... well this is a PG13 site, so we'll leave it at that.
Hi again: Not fishing again until Monday. The weather is very hot and humid. Hurricane Christina is off the coast of mainland Mexico. It's staying off shore but is causing wind and cold water. We canceled Saturday because of the lousy conditions. Check the satellite here. Dominick

Is the Hurricane going to be an issue for the AT trip?

And thanks for the report Dom. Hope to see more big ones. :)
Dominick, you look like a spring chicken... Good luck tomorrow. Those chick dorado are yummy as can be.
Sal, Don't encourage him to put those Hawaii five-o shirts on... It's screws up the contrast on my computer screen. ;)
Best of luck with the weather,
Dom

Looks like a much better time than what I've been having at work.
Just a little jealous.
Weather report yesterday said their would be 29 mph winds. We canceled and we are shooting for tomorrow or Monday. We went to the marina yesterday and there were some tuna (10-15 lbs) small dorado and some very nice red snapper and a 300 lb blue marlin. Dominick
I'm glad you guys are choosing your days carefully, we need you back safe and sound ;).
Looking forward to your next report, hoping its a good one.
yeah, not worth getting killed over! stay safe, see you when we return.
Hi AT members: It is still hot and sticky and the fishing is still slow. We caught about 12 bonita 1 dorado and another hammerhead.

At least your catching something Dominick. Do you eat those Bo Bo's?
Soak the Bo Bo's in milk over night. Then throw in trash.

Daron: I posted more photos. You may have missed the second set of photos. Look at the last photo that is bonita sushi. The capitano sliced it with fresh limes and soya sauce. It was surprisingly good. We never took bonita either throwing them back or cutting them up for bait. I need to do some research the best I could gather in broken Spanish and English is that there are two different bonita. They are bonita with teeth or no teeth (like some Kentucky boys ;D). The capitano said the ones with teeth taste good. He was right the bonita he served on the boat was pretty good. Does the hammerhead meet with your criteria? Dominick
I have no Criteria. Its a Shark, and like me, he has all his teeth. ;D
Be safe out there Buddy. ;)
I guess you are back from your trip Dominick? No Roosters or Tuna? ???

Nope no tuna. We targeted rooster fish for only a hour. We did not get a bite. The dorado was good eating. Dominick
At least you caught something. I bet reeling in those Hammers was Fun! ;D
I didn't catch a Rooster in my only trip to Costa Rica either, and I went with my GF so no puttanesca.
