Title: Is a Newell 332 reel base compatible with Penn 3/0 Senator 112
Post by: gallegn on June 17, 2014, 05:39:03 AM
Hi all,
You are the best resources I know to answer this question without trying it out myself.  I rebuilt my 332 no letter with a Tiburon frame.  I'm selling off my old parts since I want someone else to get good use out of them.  I listed the base on the auction site and someone is asking me about it for his Penn Senator 3/0 112.  I have little experience with Penns.  I read the 112 is part of the family called the Jig master '99'.  I imagine that's due to the reel plates?  Can anyone help me out?

Thanks,

Greg
