This reel has seen better days,  I never knew the old Senators had leather thumb "drags"  a peice of nostalgia.

That's not a Penn part... it's aftermarket.  Also, that reel isn't worth $38 ...it would go to my junk pile, actually it would go in the garbage. Might save the rosewood knob.
Hate to see a mistreated reel, seems silly

Not mine guys, just came across it, wasn't sure if it was orginal or not. I am alos of the opinion that $38 was too much, more like $8 or you pay me 8 and I will take it off your hands for parts.
