I'm in the market for a quality rod for inshore saltwater fishing in coastal Georgia and Florida around $100. I'm looking at heavier actions for bait, and around 7'6" long. I'm mainly looking at these 2 models, but I'm open to others as well. I'd like to hear what's good and not so good from people who gave used one or both. I've held both but fished neither. The shimano teramar feels nice, and has a great warranty. The mojo seems to have quite a following. Thoughts?
Currently using the teramar se H 7.6, It's my #20 live bait/swimbait rod match with quantum CNW20. Very light and has good backbone bouncing up to #6 fish. Very nice fly-lining sardines. Very comparable to calstar xl. With a black x wrap very nice looking rod.
I've never fished a Mojo but heard that they are awesome rods.
I like the Teramar...great feeling rod, light and great backbone. also comes with a fast tip, which I like.
