Hi everybody im new on this forum im verry glad that i found this websajt thank you for having me here, i got verry inspired buy reading many diffrent threads i learned how to maintenance my calcutta and change drags to carbontex.
I have a question about Calcutta 700 what year was it made and what year did they stop to produce this reel?
And why did they stop produce this fantastic reel? my opinion is that Calcutta B and Te is not as god as the old classic 700.
The Shimano rep on another site posted that the little round sticker on the reel foot depicts when and where the real is manufactured.
Have this info:
First letter is the year, second letter is the month, third letter is the country of manufacture. The list is long so I am not going to type it all since it covers 1976-2015. I will post a couple and you can figure out the rest. We use A-Z for the years, so they reset every 25 years.
