Found a suitable case for my project, How do you call the type of foam you find in pelican case or camera case ?

Was actually looking for the flat, a bit more rigid type foam like you see on the bottom of those type of cases, a foam that you can cut squares/holes in it.

There's so many types and some very expensive. Anyway found a place that as the stuff, it's called charcoal regular foam, pretty cheap too.

Might use the eggcrate type for the cover

Thanks, Marc..

Try package/packing foam. Many vendors sell both.
