Title: Hello from a Georgia boy
Post by: bigmike350566 on August 21, 2014, 12:51:48 PM
Wanted to stop and say Hi before diving knee deep into the boards.
I'm Mike from Macon, GA.
I am a combat veteran.
I'm a hotrodder/drag racer by trade.
I was a gunsmith and IDPA competition shooter until a robbery left me with only an old bolt action rifle from ww2.  After that, I turned to my second love, saltwater fishing.  That's been a few years ago and haven't turned back since.  It's been a lot of fun applying a lot of the same principles used in working a competition firearm and race car into the rods and reels I build.
Looking forward to learning from you good folks and helping out when and where I can.

Hi Mike,

From the picture I can tell why you are known as BIG Mike  :D

Don't always post up on the saltwater stuff, as I'm a pure bass and LP baitcaster man, but I check into this site at least once a day. Get to know some of the guys, their sense of humor, and some who are less happy with life, but are always willing to help out.

Cheers,

Terry.
