Do the traditional bearing sleeves work the same for the Accurate Twin Drag Reels?

yup!  i just used brass tubing from the local hobby shop.  worked great!

But when the reel is in freespool, the springs are not compressed, how will a sleeve help?

there actually is a little bit of pressure on the springs when the reel is in free.  not alot, just a little and it does slow the bearings down.  again, not alot.
