Hi fellow members
Just bought a vintage Fin Nor 4C 207 reel, the one with the main shaft and pressure plate turned out of solid alu. I am now giving it a good clean and general service. The reel is in pretty good shape, but when I turn the handle it gives a gritty sound and feel. Upon inspection it seems to me that the pinion gear is either worn or has been replaced by a home-made substitude, not sure wich but it seems unusualy rough. A long shot perhaps, but any one have this pinion gear to sell or knows of a possible source for one?
