Title: New in Box 140L Squidder
Post by: handi2 on November 23, 2014, 01:18:02 AM
Someone brought this in today while picking up his reels and would like to sell it. It's the later bearing model, all black, aluminum spool.

It's brand new so what is this worth? I might offer $50.00. He paid $45.00.

Thanks

It's worth at least twice that (the box and contents are half the value).

About 7 years ago before wall street went south a new 140L in the box was $220.00 or more at auction on fleabay.

Shocking to see how low $$$ a squidder goes for now. I just watched a absolute pristine untouched 140 sell for $56+shipping. No box, but still a great reel for that price, and boy those squidders sure are beautiful reels when they're brand new....with the box and accessories they always fetch a few more dollars. Any new squidder is worth grabbing right now with prices this good. I doubt they will do anything but go up in value if our economy ever comes around.
