Title: Black 114H Restoration Project
Post by: pompano joe on November 30, 2014, 02:51:04 AM
I'd posted some questions about this reel earlier.  So here are the pics I promised.  As I understand it this is an early (possibly the first couple of months of production) Penn Senator 114H with black side plates.  Many thanks to all who responded with information and opinions, to Alan for this site, my friend Keith (Ocean Master) for the NOS Penn parts to make her shine again, and owner Ralph for his trust.

Left everything pretty much original with the exception of the drag stack and bearings.  Still looking for just the right handle and knob combination.  Did not buff the side plates because I didn't want to sacrifice the clarity of the numbering and images.

Feel very blessed to have come across this one!
