Title: Clicker switch...
Post by: wiggreb on October 22, 2010, 04:11:31 PM
On all the reels I have ever owned, the switch to activate the clicker must be pushed down (or toward the center of the reel) in order to activate the clicker, and up in order to de-activate the clicker.  However, it would be much easier to push the clicker down to de-activate it when you have a fish on. So I'm wondering if there would be any way to reverse the switch to activate / de-activate the clicker?

Considering the simplicity of the clicker mechanism, you would need to got to a leaver configuration or relocate the clicker 180 degrees from the actual location.
