Aiala wanted to know what I have in stock in Jigmaster Accuplates, so I took some photos of what I could lay my hands on without conducting a property line to property line search and here's what I found. I can take apart most of the complete reels shown if anyone wants to buy any individual components, but a few I need to sell complete, like the unusual red Jigmaster 505HS in the left front corner with the Newell 344 2 3/4" wide aluminum bars, base and clamp, matching red aluminum spool and Penn 5:1 gears.
I also have a pretty good collection of other Accurate, Tiburon and Newell Penn components, so if anyone is looking for anything else, I would love to have a chance to see if I might have what you need at a price that will work for you.
Thanks,
Randy
Very nice reels. Makes me want to buy something. ;D
I love that ice blue color. I have a 501 ice blue and cannot seem to use it because of the color...I guess I should sell it then...right? Okay and I don't get to go fishing as much as I like.
Do you have blue plates for a 4/0?
I would be very interested in the Purple reel 2nd from bottom on the right AND the Red Jig 2nd from bottom on the left. Would you be willing to PM me with the condition of each reel and maybe even some prices? Mahalo.

Thanks for giving me a shot at it, but I'm sorry to say that I do not have any blue 4/0 Accuplates. I have black, gold and red 4/0 Accuplates, and a set of red Baja Pacific 4/0 side plates and a set of purple Lee Pro 4/0 side plates, but nothing in blue at the moment.
Thanks again,
Randy
stickied!!!! good luck with this. there are so very few accuplates left!!!!!!!
unstickied now that you have your own board! randy, if there is anything that you want to keep at the top as you accumulate posts, just sticky it and it will stay at the top.
Randy are the ice blue accumulates for a 500 or 505 hs jigmaster
I sent you an email but it looks like you have a 501 and potentially a gold 99 w/spool in gold? I'm very interested!
I am also interested in side plates for a 500/501. what colors do you have left (if any)?
Thanks for your post. I have Accuplates for the 500/501 in red, gold, silver and purple. All are "clicker-style" except for the purple set. I also have red and gold Accuplates for the 505HS/506HS, purple and black for the 114H 6/0, red and gold for the 349H, red and gold for the 140/145/146 Squidder, and black and gold for the 113H 4/0.
Thanks again,
Randy

How much for the red 349H plates?
I have a good used set that would be $195 complete with all of the Penn mechanical parts and handle, so all that you would need to complete the reel would be the frame, spool and harness lugs, and I could sell them for $195. It that works for you, I would be happy to take some good close-up photos.
Thanks,
Randy

I have an ice blue Jigmaster 99 Accuframe with spool, but I do not have any more ice blue Accuplates at this time. The red Accuplates with Accuframe Jigmaster complete reels start at $165.

Hi Randy,
If the 349h side plates are still available, I'll take them. Let me know.
I haven't heard anything from the person who asked about them, so they are all yours Tom. If you want to send me a check again instead of Paypal, knock 3% off, which will total $194 ($195 plus $5 for shipping by Priority Mail = $200 minus 3% = $194).
Thanks for the business,
Randy
Thanks Randy!
I'll drop a check in the mail tomorrow.
Sorry we didn't have more time to catch up at the Fred hall show, every time I cruised by your booth, you were swamped!
Tom
I'm sorry that we couldn't spend some time together at the show too, and I hope that you have a chance to stop by the next time that you come through the Central Coast and let me buy lunch or dinner if you have time.
Thanks again,
Randy
Wow, sold out from under me.
I already have a 349H, do you have just the plates instock without all the internals?

The only other 349H Accuplates that I have are on the gold reel in my personal collection. I would be happy to sell the plates, bearings, clicker kit, mounting screws and the nylon bushing that goes under the eccentric lever separately. Would gold work for you, and if so, could you use the matching Accuframe?
Thanks,
Randy
Maybe, depending on cost.
Could you post up some pictures and price. I like the idea of the frame, does it take the original spool? I'm basically trying to set up a 349H for tuna jigging.
My dad made money in the 70's jigging bluefish with his 349's and I think he would get a kick out of catching tuna on a hot rodded one of the old workhorses.

Not at all Bud,
If you are still interested, they are yours. I did not mean to snipe them from you.
Randy,
If TechTeach want them, they are rightfully his. My check is in the mail, just shred it when it arrives.
Tom
WOW!!!
The amount of shear class on this site is amazing, as well as inspiring.
Thank You, Randy -- for making these types of nearly impossible parts to find -- available to us on Alan's site.
And even though many of the parts are more than rare -- at fair prices for our members.
And, Thank You, Tom -- for showing such unselfish class.
Tom -- I was going through a few boxes of Penn parts I pulled out of storage this morning -- and found these.
Are they some of your early cranks?
Best,
Fred

No Fred, they aren't mine. It does look like something my ol' man has hanging in the garage. I remember him coming home from Ventura harbor after an overnight trip to the islands. The gunny sacks filled with huge reds, ling, sheep head and vermilion. He still has an old rod with a very crusty 6/0 hanging in the rafters!
As for the side plates, fair is fair. I didn't look at the date stamp on TechTeaches post. Had I seen that his posts were from that morning, I never would have swooped!
I have been looking for a set of those plates to use as samples for future projects. Lee(Keta) wants frames, so I may as well make plates too, right??
Actually I prefer the red plates but I don't need all the internals.
I would like to see some pictures before making a commitment though.

I do not know the rules of etiquette for buying and selling in the other forums on Alan's board, but in this particular forum, the rule is that until someone says "you have a deal", any item up for sale in this forum is fair game for anyone. The fact that someone has inquired about or made an offer on an item does not bestow upon that person any senior interest in that item, and inquiries and offers from all parties are welcomed and encouraged until the item is sold.

I'm sorry to say that the frame for this reel is a special 2 7/16" wide model commonly referred to as the "Wahoo Special" and it requires the matching wide spool. To the best of my knowledge, no one has made an aluminum frame for the standard 1 5/8" 349 width, but if anyone else has seen one, I would love to hear about it.

Absolutely. Cortez put up his money fair and square, he's good to go.

Hi randy,
Is the purple 500/501 accu plates still available?
Also, do you have a purple 501 spool?
Mike I still have the purple Accuplates but I do not have a purple spool.
Thanks,
Randy
That 505 with the black newel bars and seat is pretty sweet looking. Can I get a price quote?

Tom, that reel consists of a set of mint red 505HS Accuplates, a red-bladed Accurate power handle, new red Tiburon Yellowtail Special spool (2 3/4" wide) and new Newell P344 base, clamp and cross bars, and I could sell it for $295, which I realize is a lot of money for a Jigmaster. If you are interested in any of the individual components, I would be happy to sell some of them separately.
Thanks,
Randy
Hi, Randy...
Do you by chance have any of the Jigmaster-sized plates left?
Thanks! :)
~A~
Dear Aiala,
I do have new and used Jigmaster Accuplates in gold and red in both 500/501 and 505/506HS configurations. I also have a set of new silver 500/501 Accuplates.
Boy Randy, that's some nice lookin goodies you have there!!!
..............Lou
Randy, thanks... beautiful stuff!
Would you be kind enough to PM me with a price for the silver set? :)

Randy
Hello, I ask this question at a very grave risk to my wallet. ;D
How much for a set of 505 plates in red?
Thanks!
The new in the box red 505/506HS Accuplates kit that you see in the photos above is $165. I also have a complete red 506HS conversion (red Accuplates, Accuframe and red-bladed Accurate 3-position power handle), a 505HS conversion, and a red Tiburon "Yellowfin Special" 344 width spool for the 505/506HS.
Thanks, I'll keep that in mind!
Would the 344 YFS spool fit in my 500 Accuplates or is the spindle too long even with adjusted bearing caps. Aloha!
You are correct, the shaft is way too long, even if you back the bearings all of the way out, but I have a brand new red anodized aluminum spool that is made for the Accuplates, and I would be happy to sell it to you, or trade you for your Newell spool if you wouldn't mind throwing in a little cash, or possibly trading you the complete reel for your spool and Accuplates or any other interesting stuff that you might be willing to part with.
Mahalo,
Randy
