Title: Penn Delmar
Post by: coastal_dan on January 14, 2015, 05:41:59 PM
Another basement find from my Grandfathers...enjoyed rebuilding it.  No money spent, but it does need a few new parts if it would be used for fishing.  This will be a shelfie in our house though...cell pictures... :-\

All greased up and after a Simple Green soak.  Added a jigmaster handle...

Very well done, Dan --

Looks like you really know how it is done...

That is a pretty old DelMar with those sideplates and hex clicker.

Best,

Fred

Dan,

Good family reel to save. The hex clicker is circa 1939. You do see occasionally on different models.

Thanks guys, I truly enjoy working on these older Penn models.  Next up I'd like to do a Squidder and a 113h.
