Title: pictures of the workshop
Post by: otownjoe on February 01, 2015, 04:22:27 AM
I finished building and organizing the fishing workshop today. I thought i should take some pictures before all those plinth get filled up with junk. All the materials used were repurposed and free. Even the shelving and lightning were destined for the dumpster. I'm looking forward to working on all the project's I have backed up.

Beautiful shop, Joe --

Great use of space -- and some good ideas.

Particularly like your use of the clear Plano type boxes -- nicely accessible and organized...

Is that an old Ocean City 10/0 on your bench partially disassembled?

Best,

Fred

Nice setup you've got there!  What other hidden tools have you got for working on reels n rods there?
Do you have a...
-Benchtop parts cleaner
-Sonic cleaner
-Tumbler
-Drill Press
-Benchtop press
-Anodizing bath
-Powder coating rack/oven
-Benchtop Lathe
-Benchtop Mill
-3D Printer
-Laser or a waterjet cutter

If not... looks like you've got plenty of room to make additions.

I like the clear plano parts storage as well.  Reminds me I need to go buy a few more.

Thanks for sharing the pics!

Great use of space, Joe.
Is the covering on the windows for security or to hang more gear from?
You've got plenty of room to roam, enjoy your hard work.
Thanks
Dom

Dom the covering on the Windows is for security.
I've never worked on a submarine. I have a 6 1/2 ft by 16 ft room  with a 7ft ceiling height. I'm still working on a better way to store the rods.  Joe

Great shop.  I'm sure mine would look exactly like that if I did not spend all my time on alantani.com
