Title: From garbage heap to beauty queen
Post by: TheReelGuy850 on February 17, 2015, 03:39:53 AM
My garbage man friend found this while on route. He knows I tinker with old reels so he gave it to me.It was quite ugly...but with some love and help from the members here I breathed new life into it.Sorry I didn't have time to do a step by step assembly but I was so ready to get it back together. So here's the final product.....

I love the 209.  My dad has one with a green handle we have been fishing since I was about 5 (late 70s), and a recent service and upgrade will ensure it has many more years of use in it.
