Just wanted to say that I found this site a few years back for tearing down my Calais which I printed and have saved but I didn't sign up at that time. Many thanks for it though but this time I signed for more help that I couldn't find through all of the blogs. What I have got this time is I have a Daiwa T3 Air ordered and the first thing I want to do is replace the knobs. Can anyone help me find the page that I would need to see? Many thanks.

Sort of but that is more for salt water rigs and what I have is a much smaller fresh water reel which I hope doesn't take as much as this one did. Thanks.
the daiwa low profile baitcasters have some differences, but they are not bad. remove the spool, remove the handle and star, and start backing out side plate screws in order. often there is a screw on the inside that holds the side plate on. once you get everything, the rest is straight forward.
