The 4 bridge screws are 6-40 & the plate screws are 5-40     RUDY

Oh! Is 18-8 stainless steel good enough for those screws?

Yes, any stainless is good. It's better then the Penn brass/chrome screws.

Just chuck the threaded end in a electric drill & file the threads down half way on the 2 that go through the clutch springs & the springs won't hang up.    RUDY
