Title: Adding a backup AR pawl to a Daiwa Luna
Post by: Propster on March 26, 2015, 03:29:19 AM
I searched but didn't see anything. Has anyone done a tutorial or figured out how to add a backup AR pawl to a Luna? If there ever was a reel that could benefit from adding one of these it's the Luna what with its propensity for the AR bearing to go out. Thanks, I'll hang up and listen.

That would be awesome. Never had the AR go on mine, but I run it dry. Still, that would make an already great reel, super-terrific!

I have a feeling it might fe difficult with the small ratchet that it uses. Would need a really long pawl, and the angle of the teeth may prohibit anyway. Oh well
