Title: CorrosionX
Post by: Brystons on April 01, 2015, 08:13:55 AM
Aloha long run lurker here. I was just wondering is CorrosionX a replacement for grease? For example the screw holes in my senator are a little rusty, so I was thinking of putting CorrosionX to stop the rust from spreading. But normaly I would just grease the holes, can I grease the holes and put CorrosionX?

Aloha Bryston,

E komo mai.

So far, I have found that corrosion X works equally well for small screws.  As a replacement, I'm not sure of the longevity.

Aloha,
Bryan

Right on mahalo for the reply. I'm actually in the middle of cleaning my reel right now, I have everything laid out and I noticed some rust starting to form in the screw holes of the frame and the chrome rings.I was just trying to figure out the best way to stop the rust.
