I can't believe I am all wrapped up on this weekend's reels before 6pm on a Saturday.  This rarely happens.  Maybe I'll actually have time to go wet a line tomorrow.  Thought I'd celebrate this rare and monentous occasion with a post service pic.  2-12/0s, 1 80 International...11.5hrs labor, $26, $12, & $80 parts bills.  The only trouble was getting the Bellevilles and spacing right on the 80 (1.5hrs).  Hopefully this week's lot of Tiagra 130, 2 Tiagra 80WAs, and 2 Penn 80STWs produce similar results.  (Not likely).

Very nice John, you are very skilled at what you do and it shows.
Also notice Mikes history book in the pic....2 thumbs up my friend  8)

Guess my vacation is over.  Next 3 arrived 1 Tiagra 130, 2 Tiagra 80W.  These appear to be the first gen models, and look good on the outside.  It did take a torch, and 2 men 30 mind to remove the rerls from the rods.  Guess it is blasphemous to post Shimano pics in this Penn board though.

Shimano belongs in the bike forums  ;D. Not at all, nice to see other reels and the work the goes into them, those are some VERY solid reels.

Strange how these hobbies are born from fishing and now take up fishing time. Too many days this year I have gone to the boat early to help Captain Al set up for the day and then go home to work on rods. Nice mangos were caught Saturday while I was working on rods. :-\
