Went bass fishing with the water cutter Saturday, the first time I've fished for bass for over 15 years. The fishing was slow with only 2 bass and a trout until we moved from 6' to 3' and from 58° to 63° water where we found some fish.
Largest 2, 4lb 5oz and 4lb 11oz. These are SE Oregon bass from a high elevation lake and are large for our area.

One trout and a smallmouth, all caught on crankbaits. The trout was a surprise as it was caught on a shallow flat.

Yup, that was a big smile. Actually my wife, the professional photographer, was having trouble with my digital camera and she put in 2 sets of bad batteries, the smile went away 10 minutes earlier.
