Had a blast reeling in these bruisers...caught about 10 or so with a Penn 710z that I overhauled and updated. Definitely a blast, wishing I could have grabbed some tog as well, but next time.

I personally don't eat these big ones but I have friends that do. I like the smaller ones smoked...awesome fish to catch though, tail dances and aerial acrobatics are great.

I'd love some of those for big shark baits.
Wish our Gulf Blues got that big, but that size is uncommon down here.
I caught several the other day, half their size, perfect eating.
