Welcome Tom!
I too hail from the land of ice and snow.  I miss the Walleye opener.  Of course we have Marlin and Tuna here in HI.

Welcome Tom --

Lots to learn around here.

Love that Northern Lake country.

Fished a few times in Southwestern Ontario.

Always came up through Minnesota via Lake of the Woods -- then cross at International Falls -- on up to Kenora, where we would fly off on floats up to Namego Lake for a week at a time at a remote old trappers cabin.  Fished for Lakers mostly.  All you could catch -- but we would only keep enough for fresh meals everyday.  Thousands of lakes -- many fairly large and not even named.  Amazing country.

We would bring in our gear, groceries, and a couple of serviced motors for the old aluminum boats we had stashed up against the trees.

Ice was off a few weeks ago.

Best,

Fred

Welcome
Our opener was a couple of weeks back. A day and a little more lake fishing in the book.
