Ruth and I were out tonight fishing for Fluke, but no luck. Little to early.

Well, conversely, if you had luck, it would be a Fluke.  I think.

I was out all day friday and caught about 20 short fluke -- biggest being about 16". I just kept casting and weeding through the shorts hoping for a keeper, but nada.

You didn't mention where you caught all of these shorts.If it was on the pier, could you give me a hint.
