EDIT: Just realize it's plastic....tossed.
Just bought a SM 200 with a chipped spool.
My question is this: are the shafts just toss away? It looks like it has a retainer clip on the clicker gear.
Even if I saved it, I'd never have a use for it, so....throw it away?
Why not return it for a refund?? ???
It's an old Surfmaster I bought for other parts. No warranty involved. :)
