I have four Tlds two 15s and two 25s. All four of them started out life nice and quite. Now they all make that droning bearing noise. Three of the reels are only two years old and didn't see that much use. I'm aware that you should not max out the drag on lever drags because that bearing gets squeezed. However, I never really used much drag with these reels and my Internationals don't seem to have this problem. I suspect that they are just really cheap bearings and I should probably upgrade to a more quality Boca bearing. Anyone else have issues with these? I deshielded the bearings to service them but now they are even louder....
