I just picked up this reel used, and it seems smoother than my Abu 5601 C4. Is it the same reel? I can't tell the difference between the two physically. Thank You

More refined than the C4 and C3. More bearings, less plastic, lighter spool for starters. My RCN50 for some reason sounds a lot more geary than others but it hasn't affected performance whatsoever. ;D

Thank you. I am impressed with it. I am going to see what distance it gets compared to the C4. It came without a box or schematic, so I will have to find that also. Paul

I never knew, I thought the Record is just another C3/C4 with different plate design. Now it makes me wanna check them out :)
