Title: Calcutta 200 TE
Post by: Bulldawg on June 26, 2015, 03:27:38 PM

I am planning to switch out the Dartanium drag washers for Carbontex. Manufacturers drag rating is approximately 12 lbs. Any  Reel Geeks know the difference going to Carbonfibre or if it is beneficial.
I have been A member " lurker" of site since 2008 and I believe this is the best managed fishing related site
on the Web. Thank you all. Jan

There is not a lot of difference at first but CF drags will not load up with gunk and get jumpy after use like Dartanium, Dartanium II washers are CF.

The standard washers can become as hard as glass with age.
Carbontex are way better.
