Post by: lee on December 28, 2010, 01:37:35 PM
I mainly use the 30tw and 50 tw for trolling. Should I re pack all the bearings with greese? Or are there bearings that would be better off withme using corrosion x. Thanks

All non-spool bearings should be packed 100% with grease to keep water out. When you say mainly for trolling, then you have to decide if casting [or freespool speed] is needed often enough not to pack your spool bearings, again 100%.

packed with grease sounds like the way to go.  here's something that might help you.

if you can save 4-5 bearings from corroding, you will be money ahead.
