No and no. See the big white floatey thing called a boat. Stay in it.

15 great whites reported off the coast here.  Beaches are open for the holiday.

What????

I saw it. That is just silly. There is a point where its no longer funny. I do it for the sport. Its not a game to me.

I agree..reminds me of how sensationalized shark week has become.  There is a proper way to handle a shark from a kayak...and then there is this...sigh

Chew On This puts up mostly "sensational" style fishing videos. In one they have a nice Tarpon on and has a giant shark maul it to a nub. Could have cut the line and given the Tarpon a slim chance rather than none.

I kayak fish and this goob makes some serious mistakes from the get go.

Where's the knife? Should be one on the outside of his vest to instinctively grab to cut yourself free in a capsize entanglement.

Big shark?  Let's lock down the drag and see what happens next.

See the tether rope around the leg several times? Nuff said there.

Got tossed in with shark. Okay let's see if fate can be tempted some more.

In another vid of his they have a several hundred pound Goliath Grouper and the angler gets his hand over the gunwhale when the fish surges down...guess that hurt  some.

All for the sponsors' needs? Hmmmmm....

Might be a contender for the top 10, in the "Watch this, hold my beer" contest.

Best,

Fred

"Grab the kayak and jump back in!"

Or just stay on the boat?

Talk about thinning the gene pool. A drunk guy in Maine launched a high powered fireworks rocket off the top of his head last night and it killed him.

There are some things I do not understand --

On a Patriotic Day, like July 4th --

Shooting off fireworks made in Mexico and China by the lowest bidder.

Waving American flags made anywhere except in America.

Wearing red, white, and blue t-shirts made anywhere except -- in America.

Probably the beer was domestic -- that was patriotic -- but only because it cost less to get high -- imported brands of beer are more expensive.

Sorry -- I'm done venting about non-thinking patriots.  Got to laugh at the lack of thought.

Best,

Fred

I agree May God Bless America.  I too fly the stars and stripes 365.  One day a couple of months ago I looked at the flag on my house and it was looking a little ragged.  I made a mental note to replace it.  A few weeks later I had not done so.  one day as I was leaving my house there was a package on my doorstep and a note.  The note said "I walk by your house often and I spent time in the military.  Your flag is looking a little worn and I had this flag in a box so I would like to give it to you as a gift.  God Bless America.  Connie"  I have since met Connie and she comes past the house and on occasion I see her salute the flag.  There are great people in this world.  Dominick
