What's the size of the spool bearings on the Senator 117/118? I forgot to measure them..!
I think they are around 8X0.5X0.6 OD ID H in mm. May want to check the bearing size thread though.
Keith,
I had a 14/0 apart last night, but I couldn't get the bearings out of the cups. In millimeters. I got 4.95 on the id. 19mm on the od. My best guess is 8 mm on the thickness.
Penns are all measured in inches.
Thanks Daron I got it.
0.1875 x 0.75 x 0.2344
3/16 x 3/4 x 15/64
5x19x6
I just had one come in.

Well at least I got one of the numbers right :)
I will make a note on that.
I got one right too John. ;D
I couldn't find the inch size anywhere online. I guess I'll have to use the phone.
The diameters are in accordance with R3 bearing size, but not the width.
The metric size mentioned is very close to, but not the same as, the bearing you are looking for.
.
I cannot find the inch size bearings anywhere except at Scott's. Is there any other vendor?
Keith
I wish I could be of more help Keith.
I don't have any spare parts for these Bohemoths.

Doc, you are correct!
I took one of my reels apart to check if the metric sizes are consistent, here is what I got:
The 19 OD is spot on
The 6 W is also spot on
The 5 ID is .005mm wider, is this worth mentioning? probably not. A standard computer paper is .10mm thick, we're talking half of that
I believe the 19mm OD - 6mm W and 5mm ID should do just fine.
