Title: Pivoting Reel Handle by Reel Colors
Post by: Tightlines667 on August 13, 2015, 12:58:13 AM
Does anybody have any experience using the Pivoting Reel Handle by Reel Colors?  It looks to be a nice, comfortable handle assembly.  It is available through Captain Harry's or Sothwestern Reel Parts.  I was thinking at $95 it might make a nice alternative/upgrade for the 130 International reels.  As opposed to the ~$250 cost of stock assembly, or the ~$80 cost of Tiburon T-bar.  I would appreciate any input or specs.

I have one on one of my Tiagra 50W reels. They do work great and are super comfortable. The other reels have Tiburon handles.

It likes a shimano clone to me.  I put one of these on a tiagra 30 and didn,t like it, Its very large and heavy. but if you have big hands it might be you cup o tea!  Large, comfortable and offset and rubber.   seems like it would fit the bill.  made of heavy brass.
Try it, you only go around once!

Gary that's been my philosophy for years.  Unfortunately it has gotten me in hot water a few times.   :D ;D :D Dominick
