Hi guys, new to the forum, actually found this place while googling for help on a Penn 309 my father gave me this weekend. Glad to join up and I'm definitely going to be spending some lunch breaks snooping on here :) I've recently started fishing again as my daughter has really been bit by the bug this year and while I've always been a bass fishermen, I've been trying for Sturgeon and Muskie this year around my place on the St Lawrence.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, so far the forum has been HUGELY helpful in my rebuild. Just ordered some parts from Scott's and looking forward to trying out a reel that hasn't been used in 30+ years!

Hi,all. I am a helpless old guy with a computer who just wants to order 114H side rings both sides and screws both sides but no idea how. Sorry to be a bother. Alan has a great rep and I'd like to see him make some money while I hotrod my Senator with the narrow Tiburon frame. I guess you could reccomend 65# or 80# for yellowtail,ling and grouper too?thx,ernie
