Title: Great replacement 113h crankhandle!
Post by: gstours on October 05, 2015, 05:11:48 AM
Back not too long ago many of these aftermarket were not available to the fisherperson.  This site and others have requested better stuff for their reels, and people have listened and made a lot of great aftermarket parts available.   this helps both partys involved, and maybe the fish are the ones who suffer?  I hope not!
Here is a crankarm I made for the j variance endplated, accurate framed, all sst interior parted Penn 4/0 that was one of my favorite bottomfishing reels.  the rubberlike grip is ok,  but now I prefer the okuma makaira grip.  Its sst and easily mated to other arms that are sst by a tig weld.   things get better, sometimes!

I got the idea after trying this new reel and I liked them both. So I called okuma usa parts and they sent me some so its another source for a great offset rubber knob.  They were great to work with.  Phone is 909-923-2828.
Below is a great reel with the knob from okuma,  its sort of like putting putting pontiac tailights on your custom t-bird.  But if you like it thats all that matters.  Lifes funny that way.     thanks for viewing my post.   gst!

Options abound.
I like that finish on your Tiagra..looking sharp, and appears to be quite durable.

I really love how you made your reels 3x better customizing  the handles and knobs.
