Slap an Aluminum Spool in it. Black Pearl spacer bars or Tib Frame and fish it.
Same size as a Jigmaster 500.

make a plinth!  or clean it up and take it fishing? Either way its a great reel to   play with.  But try to wear it out.   Few people do!

Does anyone know what the thing hanging off the side of it is for? Will a 99 size spool work on this reel? I have the bars and seat just need a 99 size spool if that will work?

It's a cast control knob to adjust end play.  I have one 'patent pending' on a 130. A 60 year old precursor to 'knobby magging' a casting reel.

You will see the "Fluid Hub" on page 3 and Mike has copied the Paperwork description that comes in the box too. Approx 2/3's down the page.
