Title: On a Perfect Weekend!
Post by: gstours on October 10, 2015, 02:54:35 AM
I had some friends up from Oregon lately and they wanted to fish for halibut.  So we tried our luck.

We used herring, circle hooks, and reworked 4/0 Penn reels fishing in about 160ft of baywater.

It was fun as they knew how to clean and prepare for freezing the catch so I had more time to do other chores.  We were tired after it was over but had some cold refreshments and a great dinner.     Summer can be a lot of work.
