Post by: Oceanreels on October 25, 2015, 03:35:48 PM
Looking for some information. Anyone ever heard of the Seaside Fishing Co. in Long Branch NJ.  They were probably around in the late 30s to early 40s., for how long I don't know. Any information would be great.

    Thanks, Brian

Brian,

You may be able to go online to the Chamber of Commerce for Long Branch, New Jersey. They may have some history there. Long Branch is an old town.

Mike,
This is what I have so far.  They were not listed in 1937-38, but the Seaside Fishing Pier was listed at 67 Ocean Ave. Langdon Coles was Sec./ Treas., he was also connected to Seaside Fishing Co. In 1940 they were listed as Seaside Fishing Co.  65 Ocean Ave. Long Branch NJ. Daniel J. Kaher Pres. They were gone by 1948. 65 Ocean Ave. was also the address of the Long Branch Fishing Pier, it burned down in 1987.
