Hello to all! I have a penn 500 jigmaster w/ accurate frame and side plates. My question is what spool fits this??? It has a newell spool and I think newell gears (not positive) I know it's high speed! Is the newell spool the only one that fits? Which newell spool do I have? Any info. is appreciated.

Any Penn jigmaster 500 or beachmaster 250 should interchange in it.

In what way does it not fit? That's where we start. end play, diameter, etc.

Can you adjust the bearings? Accuplates usually have adjusting screws in the plates.
yes they do! this is kinda embarrassing but now the 500 spool DOES fit! I must have had my 505 spools mixed in with my 500 spools and didn't notice. A cluttered work bench has got me in a jam more than once! lol...Thanks everyone!
