I'm having some trouble finding info on this. Why do some albacore reels have the Shakespeare brand on them and some are alutecnose?

I just picked up a mint Alitecnos albacore 50 single speed and it says made in Italy on it as it should, by the pics online and info I've read I can't figure out if the Shakespeare ones are Italian made as well or if the company transferred hands or they are different reels.

Just an OEM / branding thing, i should think.
Don't know why. Global market thing?
