Title: Shimano Tiagra 130 bearings
Post by: CEShawn on December 11, 2015, 08:59:53 AM
I hate to bring up posts that could have been answered by searching the board.  I however was unable to do that here, so sorry if its a report.

I want to get a dozen bearings for my Shimano 130's.  I see they are part # TT577 but really do not see that much on the internet available.  I have looked at Boca Bearings and do not see a slam dunk part number for them.

I am also a little confused by all the difference choices.  Part of me would like to go OEM because that is what works when I have a 700lb bluefin on the line, I have proved that.  Then I see these nice ceramic, high performance ones too.  I never really have had a problem, so why change.

So for people who have bought a replacement TT577, is that a good PN for them? I mean I guess I could mic. them out but I still prefer to do the old, PN for PN bit.  Thanks...

If Boca doesn't give you a size with the part number you will have to measure them. Any ABEC5 SS bearing will be as good or better than OEM.
